Working in oil paint, Super 8 and 16mm, and various natural materials, Natalie examines the intersection between nature and natural resource development, specifically in her homeland, Alaska. ‘Crude’ presents the infrastructure of our modern day energy production to engage her audience in discourse about the intricacies of powering and empowering our society.
